This report is a comprehensive overview of the context, methods for examination, and findings of an investigation into an instance of material non-compliance with the Code of Practice for Ministerial Appointments to Public Bodies in Scotland during a public appointments round for the Scottish Local Authority Remuneration Committee.
 

This report was laid before the Scottish Parliament by the Commissioner for Ethical Standards in Public Life in Scotland pursuant to Section 2(8)a of the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003. Laying reference CES/2023/02.
