In some circumstances, it can currently take up to 5 months to conduct an initial assessment for some complaints, particularly if they are complex. We are doing everything we can to reduce this time. Invitation to Tender - Public Appointments Advisers

This invitation to tender is to provide consultancy support of the Commissioner’s statutory requirements by advising and supporting recruitment panels who are making non-executive appointments to the boards of public bodies, as Public Appointments Advisers (PAAs).

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • a significant and successful track record in promoting diversity and ensuring equality through providing advice on and taking an active role in recruitment and selection processes
  • a desire to make a tangible difference to the boards of Scotland’s public bodies

If this sounds like you, and you have well-developed communication and influencing skills, know how to apply a code or system of regulation to situations, share our values and maintain high ethical standards in your work, then we would love to hear from you. We are filling up to four roles. In the case of one we also want to find someone who additionally has a successful track record in conducting quality audits or similar reviews.
