In some circumstances, it can currently take up to 4.5 months to conduct an initial assessment for some complaints, particularly if they are complex. The Scottish Government has provided a written response to the report produced by the Commissioner following an investigation into complaint claims that reappointments to the board of the Cairngorms National Park Authority were not made on the basis of sound evidence and process.
